About Me

My professional journey began in software engineering, where I spent 11 years working with global clients across software services, product development, and SaaS. While working as an engineering leader, I developed a passion for UX design—something I first discovered in a Human-Computer Interaction course while studying Computer Science at the University of Guelph. Since then, I’ve worked with companies in e-commerce, insurance, software consulting, labour, and the nuclear industry, helping them understand their users and make data-driven decisions to enhance their experiences.

These days, I work as a Product Design Director for a B2B SaaS platform that helps regional grocery retailers enter the e-commerce space. Here, I have the opportunity to mentor designers and shape how we deliver our services in an exciting, fast-growing industry. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats and enjoy tackling problems from different perspectives. My unique blend of experience has helped me foster collaboration, and I thrive on helping teams achieve high performance and accountability—it’s my favourite part of the job.

I'm a constant learner and am looking for opportunities that challenge me, allow me to grow my skill set, and enable me to make a meaningful impact through technology.

Well, outside of work, I enjoy photography, travelling, and hiking with my dogs, Olive & Frodo. I'm always eager to learn new things, and most recently, I've started working on my pilot's license.
